A beach ceremony needs a chair for every seated guest, an arbor or other focal point, and a small table for the signing or a unity piece; a reception adds guest tables, linens, flatware and catering equipment. Check the beach’s rules before you order, because glass is banned on the public beaches around Destin and 30A and setups come down the same day.

Use one chafing dish for each hot dish on each serving line: a 100-guest buffet with two mains and three hot sides needs 5 chafers on one line, or 10 if you split guests across two lines. Keep refill pans hot in insulated carriers, since a full-size pan holds roughly 20 to 30 main-course portions (typical).

Which permit you need depends on who manages the sand: Okaloosa County schedules and permits every wedding on its beaches and parks, and Walton County requires a permit for every wedding on a public beach access in South Walton. City of Destin beaches, Henderson Beach State Park and Navarre Beach each have their own rules, so confirm with that office before you book rentals.
